To boldly go....

For those that don't know me, here is a little background info. I am a stay-at-home Mom of 2 kids age 10 and 12. I have 3 dogs, 8 cats (all now staying outside), 3 chickens and 5 ducks. The birds live outside as well. lol. I grew up in big cities, (San Diego, Seatlle, etc.) and have been a major tomboy all my life. At age 13 , I could out shoot everyone, including the adults, in my hunters safetly course and had never shot a gun before in my life. I love being outside and would rather clean a fish than do the dishes. To say the least, my homemaking skills are a little lacking. Read more »

I am no Samuel Pepys. Who was he? A famous Diarist who lived in London, England from 23rd February 1633 until 26th May 1703. He wrote a diray that was so full of interesting stuff that it survives to this day. Full of wondrous accounts of life in London in those days, of things that happened in the Royal Court of King James II as well as accounts of London during the Great Plague, The Black Death 1n 1665 and the Great Fire of London in 1666.

So my diary is far less interesting and will not survive for as long. Read more »
