I have always looked for something new from the Cyan franchise since the beginning with Myst and then Riven (they still are my favorites). And it appeared that it all could have possibly come to an end with the latest closing of the cavern. That is why the closing was so disheartening. I really felt that this was going to be the end of the Myst franchise!
Here I was, finally able to enjoy the URU community for the first time with my new Intel iMac and Game Tap announces a week later that it is closing the Cavern (OK, I admit it, I am a Mac snob!). Sure, there were the other Myst games out there, but I was never able to join URU Live or play the standalone game until recently.
So, this is a happy day for the continuing Myst endeavor.
