Mysterium!

So Mysterium 2008 is over.

And updates have been requested.  Here is my version of the events!  Of anyone has a different recollection, please feel free to update my update!  :)

I arrived at the hotel in Boston with a fellow hoodie of mine on Thursday.  Most of the action started Friday, so we just sort of started to get the lay of the place.  Friday, the Myst fans started to gather in our designated room for the weekend.  After an inital group uneasy period, we all started to mingle.  I picked up my bag of goodies and name pin of "Church".  The bag also had pins of "Myst the movie" and "Myst Online MORE" as well as a miniture cone.

Now, with name tags in place, the recognition process could begin.  I didn't recognize hardly anyone, but still spent the day walking up to complete strangers and squinting at their name badge.  No one pronounced anyone's names any ways, so sight recognition was used.  We had a meet and greet on Friday, where we started to put together avie names with faces.  I had an bet the people would introduce themselves with their real names then followed by thier avie names.  I lost.  Avie names came first!

 All of the people were great and we had a blast of a good time.
